Pop Videos
Posted on Friday, July 15th, 2011 at 1:44 pmSome of my Year 4 pupils wrote and recorded their own pop songs as part of the Notivate programme.
We then used Zu3D to create some animated pop videos. Here are the results…
Please comment on them.
‘I wanna be famous… the one who lives in the spotlight’ – Wow what a brilliant idea for a song. Captures the desires of our x-factor-crazed country in 2011. The accompanying video is so entertaining. Must have taken you ages. Congratulations!
The first ten seconds of ‘The Scientist’ remind me of the film Jurassic Park and the following 90 seconds really make you consider the challenge of being a modern scientist. Great melody, well-delivered lyrics and brilliant video. Congratulations!
‘I wanna be famous’ version 2 is like the x-factor audition process. So many try for the goal but only the really dedicated and talented can make it. If you folks turn your hand to the music business you might just be in with a shout
‘Messing with Genes’ contains the funkiest animated dance routine. Like a Playmobil Take That. Congratulations – you are through to bootcamp!
Superstars – a very entertaining mash-up of wrestling, fast cars and fame. You probably based it on Mr Dicken’s life. Congratulations – you are through to the live televised finals
Fabulous songs Year 4! They are so catchy I think I might keep singing them and your singing is brilliant. The animations to go with them are a great idea, I’m sure with skills like these some of you might be famous one day!
Wow! – I have just come back from watching the year 12/13 film studies work at my son’s school and I can honestly say I enjoyed yours just as much. Very professional.
Brilliant! I can only imagine how much work went into producing these videos. …and wondeful interpretations of your excellent songs!
Fantastic songs and videos. You must have had a lot of fun making them!
I try to produce videos for a living – see my site. These are very good and I fear for my job when you get older. Many adults would not be able to do this – keep it up
